As I reflect on my time at Troy University, I recognize the amazing opportunities I experienced in such a short period. I truly have been blessed to be a part of such a wonderful institution, tradition, and community. The top-notch facilities and curriculum at Troy allowed me to pursue athletic and academic excellence in a comfortable and motivational setting. Troy University exceeded my expectations in most every way and has truly shaped me into the man I hoped to become.

The opportunity to play two sports at Troy University allowed me to connect with a great group of individuals that helped me reach new heights while allowing me to achieve the goals I had set for myself. It’s been an honor to be a member of the best football and baseball teams in school history. The football team finished with a record of 12-2, was crowned 2022 Sun Belt Conference Champions, and finished the season ranked 19th in the country. The baseball team had one of the best records in school history and was selected to play in a Regional Tournament in Tuscaloosa in the NCAA tournament.

Additionally, I witnessed first-hand the strength of community; not only through the camaraderie I experienced with my teammates, coaches, and professors but also in the manner in which the university gives back to the very community it anchors. I am extremely thankful for the various acts of community service that both the football and baseball teams participated in throughout the seasons because I learned how important it is that all members of a community feel connected.

I'm extremely thankful to have had such a supportive, diverse, and respected group of professors who guided and encouraged me through every class in my endeavor to receive my master's degree. The assistance I received from my professors and the classes I completed have given me a better understanding of the business side of sports and therefore will help me reach my career aspirations in the sports industry.

From making lifelong friends and earning my master's degree, to being a member of history-making sports teams and even receiving a championship ring, I am proud to be a part of the Trojan community and will carry the lessons, the friendships and the memories for a lifetime.
